Everyday at some point a pointless buy me message is spooned into us usually at the expense of Men.
A basic example of this is the main backbone of this post.
As you will be aware ICELAND Freezer Stores have the well worn that’s why MUMS, not parents, not Mums and Dads, not Families, MUMS go to Iceland, SO DO DADS NOT SHOP THERE THEN ?,do Dads not care sufficiently about their Families to get a mention ?
Are Dads seen as an irrelevance by Companies and Mum is the only voice worth hearing ?

Through the entire promotion the use of a reference to a Father figure was used only once and in brackets to further re enforce the total denial that Men do have a positive role to play within a family unit and are basically just spectators.

“don’t you ever, ever make fun of Muhammad again that’s my profit, you can’t say that”

at this point I was shocked and thought he was joking!! – er no apparently not, I pointed out “IT’S A JOKE- nobody worries about offending Christians” to which he replied

“YOU PEOPLE should care about your own religion more, that’s YOUR FAULT”

at this point I was shocked and stunned that such a Nazi like tirade was actually taking place in broad daylight in a public place out of the blue ?
He continued

“I’m really really angry you have no right to say that, if you say it again I’ll report you…”(report me to whom, the society for prevention of disagreeing with Islam ?)

I pointed out he was WAY out of line and that I was appalled at his behaviour, he just didn’t seem to grasp that he had openly threatened me in public, I said this is England you can’t threaten people like that to which he replied

“I don’t care you just can’t say that, you can’t insult MY profit”.

I said I totally disagree and we are going to have to agree to disagree-he didn’t want to, he just stormed off.
VERY VERY worrying that this society we now live in is openly promoting total obedience to this new threat of Islam and the misguided acceptance of Sharia Law, the almost audible sound of English society being buried under a mountain made up of western values discarded in favour of this madness masquerading as religion called Islam.

RACHEL STEVENS GETS TO GRIPS WITH MALE CANCER CAMPAIGN USING BOTH HANDS

The Everyman Cancer Campaign has a stroke of genius.

Steering away from madmen Yesterday, I decided to pursue one of my other BIG Angry subjects- that of Male Cancer Charities and there near invisibility to the outside World.
When out and about you see countless worthy Charity promotions for Women’s health issues, but Men’s health is almost a mere after thought as if WE don’t require specialist help !!.
Ribbons, badges rubber bracelets, clothing, all the charity paraphernalia is there for Women, you’d think charities were exclusively Women only!!.

Fortunately that is not so and two of my main Charity favourites can be found doing a difficult job finally getting Men’s health ON the radar.

I will admit that up till now the only thought that came to mind about Rachel Steven’s was that she was a genuine hottie knee trembler who should be on my lap getting a bedtime story, but now I would happily say she has earned my respect for doing such a sterling job promoting a Men’s issue that would usually go unmentioned.

Next time you are out, have a look around and count just how many examples of health campaigns there are for Women and opportunities to donate funds?-chances are quite a few, yet look around for a Men’s Charity…….if you find one your doing well, many chemists and general retail outlets are almost totally in tunnel vision mode exclusively WOMEN ONLY, equal opportunities in health provision, Ha – don’t make me laugh, Men’s life expectancy is typically less than women but WE get the shit end of the stick when funding and treatment is offered.
